Subscriptions
A subscription is recommended for the enhanced features of Earth Point. These are:

However, if you are just looking, or if you don't use the enhanced features of Earth
Point, then there is no need to purchase a subscription.
If there are several people in your office and you would like one billing for all
of them, the solution is to put these accounts into "sub-accounts". If you would
like assistance, I can easily convert existing accounts into sub-accounts.
Three subscription types are available.
Option 1 $50 per user per year (group rates available) or $5 per month per
user. This is tailored for business users who want a fixed billing regardless of
use.
The following group rates apply to Annual accounts:

Option 2 Put $10 into a pre-paid account. A good choice for infrequent users;
your Earth Point account is reduced pennies at a time based upon your activity.
For the money, you get about the same amount of use as a fixed-rate user, but you
can take spread it out over time. You have the option of "Automatic Recharge", which
automatically purchases more credit when the account gets low. Rates: Township and
Range, Coordinate Grids, $0.01 per grid refresh (which is triggered by a position
change in Google Earth); ExcelToKml, $0.0001 per mapped row, first 200 rows free.
Option 3 No charge for students, teachers, or non-governmental charitable
relief organizations. Approvals on a case-by-case basis.
Governmental organizations in developed countries, except for schools and universities,
are asked to get a paid subscription. If you have budgeting issues, I can approve
a free trial subscription to get you through the current fiscal year.
Everyone is welcome to use whichever option best fits their needs.
User accounts are
not needed for the other features of Earth Point. Boise
area real estate and property search are free, as are the conversion utilities on
the Township and Range and the Convert Lat/Lon pages. However, if you do not have
an account, then the Enhanced Features cannot be used to their full capacity. For
example, the "Township and Range" the "Coordinate Grid" links on Google Earth expire
after a few moves, and the ExcelToKml spreadsheets are limited to 200 rows.
