By default, if a Google Earth file links to a web page, Google Earth will open the page in its own internal browser. Google Earth's browser has limited functionality, so it is better to open web pages in your default browser (for example, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari).
To open web links in your standard browser, click "Tools" on the Google Earth menu.

Then select "Options".

A busy window opens. Click the "General" tab.
In the "Display" box, select "Show web results in external browser".
Click the "OK" button to save the changes.
